Aujourd'hui, Assem Graïeb est fatigué. La mission qu'il accepte est peut-être la dernière : retrouver un ancien membre des commandos d'élite américains soupçonné de diver trafics. À Zurich, Assem croise Mariam, une archéologue irakienne qui tente de sauver des oeuvres d'art dans la zone devastée du Moyen-Orient.
