- Eve Beresford never liked Christmas, but now she hates it with a passion after her soldier fiance was killed in action on Christmas Day. And since then, five years ago, she has closed herself off, concentrated on her career and become a successful businesswoman. Then she is left a plot of land by a distant old aunt and she leaps on the opportunity to turn it into a fabulous Christmas theme park and make the big profits that previous people trying to tackle a similar project couldn't pull off. The trouble is, the land is jointly-owned with another relative of her aunt - Jacques Glace. And he will only allow Eve to build 'Winterworld' if he can be her business partner. But how will Eve put up with jolly Jacques and his crazy ideas to make Winterworld more Christmassy than Lapland? And can he and his reindeers and his big mulled-wine laugh melt Eve's frozen heart at last...?
