- Summary
- Verging on adolescence, Joe finds himself more and more aggravated by his dad's attempts to control his life. Declaring freedom, Joe and his best buddy Patrick, along with an odd kid called Biaggio, escape to the woods, where they construct a house, just for them, with no parents or responsibility. There they discover that they are in control of their destinies, all alone out in the forest. This is a unique coming-of-age comedy about three teenage friends, Joe, Patrick and the eccentric and unpredictable Biaggio, who, in the ultimate act of independence, decide to spend their summer building a house in the woods and living off the land. Free from their parents' rules, their idyllic summer quickly becomes a test of friendship as each boy learns to appreciate the fact that family, whether it is the one you are born into or the one you create, is something you cannot run away from
