- Growing up in an isolated outback mining town in the Northern Territory of Australia, Clint Palmer always had a driving ambition to join the army. After enduring the toughest of tough training, he was accepted into the elite Australian SAS as it developed into the highly skilled and supremely effective fighting force it is today, and rose through the ranks to become a specialist parachute instructor. Thirty years of service later, Palmer shares the story of this adrenaline fuelled world and how it bacame a lifelong comittment. He takes us to Iraq and Afghanistan - where he was at the very heart of some of the worst fighting in Operation Anaconda - and tells what it was like to witness the bravery, the confusion, and the price paid by some men for the mistakes of others.
