Countries such as Afghanistan and Iraq have been affected by the withdrawal of humanitarian and medical assistance. The article highlights the imperative for countries such as Australia to remain neutral and help save lives regardless of rce, gender or political affiliation. It is stressed that the difference between western non-government organisations and western armed forces must be reiterated
